الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Salamah told us, from Abu Abdur-Rahim, from al-Jahm ibn al-Jarud, from Salim, from his father, who said: Umar ibn al-Khattab set aside as a sacrificial offering a Bactrian she-camel for which he was offered three hundred dinars. He came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah, I dedicated a Bactrian she-camel of mine as an offering, and I was offered three hundred dinars for it; shall I slaughter it, or buy sacrificial camels with its price? He said: No, rather slaughter it itself.
