حَدَّثَنَا يَعْمَرُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُبَارَكٍ قَالَ قَالَ أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَسْتَنُّ فَأَعْطَى أَكْبَرَ الْقَوْمِ وَقَالَ إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُكَبِّرَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ya'mar ibn Bishr told us; Abdullah - meaning Ibn al-Mubarak - told us, who said: Usamah ibn Zayd said: Nafi' told me that Ibn Umar said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, using the tooth-stick, and he gave it to the eldest of the group, and said: 'Gabriel, peace be upon him, commanded me to give precedence to the elder.'"
