الترجمة الإنجليزية
al-Hakam ibn Nafi' told us: Abu Bakr, that is Ibn Abi Maryam, told us, from Damrah ibn Habib, who said: Abdullah ibn Umar said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, ordered me to bring him a mudyah, which is a large knife. I brought it to him, and he sent it away to be sharpened, then gave it to me and said: 'Bring it to me early tomorrow morning.' So I did, and he went out with his Companions to the markets of Medina, where there were skins of wine that had been brought from Syria. He took the knife from me and slit open, in my presence, what was there of those skins, then gave it back to me and ordered his Companions who were with him to go with me and help me, and ordered me to go to all the markets and not leave a skin of wine in any of them without slitting it open. So I did, and I did not leave in any of its markets a skin without slitting it.
