حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَخِي ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ إِنَّ مُهَلَّ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذُو الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَمُهَلَّ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ مَهْيَعَةُ وَهِيَ الْجُحْفَةُ وَمُهَلَّ أَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنٌ قَالَ سَالِمٌ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ هَؤُلَاءِ الْكَلِمَاتِ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ya'qub told us: The nephew of Ibn Shihab told me, from his uncle Muhammad ibn Muslim: Salim ibn Abdullah informed me, from Abdullah ibn Umar, who said: The place of ihram for the people of Medina is Dhu al-Hulayfah; the place of ihram for the people of Syria is Mahya'ah, which is al-Juhfah; and the place of ihram for the people of Najd is Qarn. Salim said: I heard Abdullah say: I heard these words from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him.
