حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ فَعَلْتَ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَقَالَ لَا وَالَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا فَعَلْتُ قَالَ بَلَى قَدْ فَعَلْتَ وَلَكِنْ غُفِرَ لَكَ بِالْإِخْلَاصِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abd al-Samad told us, Hammad told us, Thabit told us, from Ibn Umar, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to a man: "You did such and such," and the man said: "No, by the One besides whom there is no god, O Messenger of Allah, I did not do it!" He said: "Yes, indeed you did, but you were forgiven because of sincerity."
