حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ مالِكًا عَنْ الرَّجُلِ يُوتِرُ وَهُوَ رَاكِبٌ فَقَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْتَرَ وَهُوَ رَاكِبٌ.

Ishaq told us: I asked Malik about a man performing witr while riding, and he said: Abu Bakr b. Umar b. Abd al-Rahman b. Abdullah b. Umar b. al-Khattab informed me, from Sa'id b. Yasar, from Ibn Umar, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, performed witr while riding.
