حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ مُحْرِزٍ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ إِذْ عَرَضَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ كَيْفَ سَمِعْتَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ فِي النَّجْوَى قَالَ يَدْنُو الْمُؤْمِنُ مِنْ رَبِّهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كَأَنَّهُ بَذَجٌ فَيَضَعُ عَلَيْهِ كَنَفَهُ أَيْ يَسْتُرُهُ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ أَتَعْرِفُ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّ أَعْرِفُ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ أَتَعْرِفُ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّ أَعْرِفُ فَيَقُولُ أَنَا سَتَرْتُهَا عَلَيْكَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَأَنَا أَغْفِرُهَا لَكَ الْيَوْمَ وَيُعْطَى صَحِيفَةَ حَسَنَاتِهِ وَأَمَّا الْكُفَّارُ وَالْمُنَافِقُونَ فَيُنَادَى بِهِمْ عَلَى رُءُوسِ الْأَشْهَادِ هَؤُلَاءِ الَّذِينَ كَذَبُوا عَلَى رَبِّهِمْ أَلَا لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَى الظَّالِمِينَ قَالَ سَعِيدٌ وَقَالَ قَتَادَةُ فَلَمْ يَخْزَ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَحَدٌ فَخَفِيَ خِزْيُهُ عَلَى أَحَدٍ مِنْ الْخَلَائِقِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abd al-Wahhab ibn Ataa told us: Sa'id informed us, from Qatadah, from Safwan ibn Muhriz, who said: While Ibn Umar was circumambulating the House, a man approached him and said: O Abu Abd al-Rahman, how did you hear the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, speak about the private conversation between Allah and the believer? He said: The believer will draw near to his Lord on the Day of Resurrection, until He places His screen over him, meaning He covers him, then He says: Do you recognize this sin? He says: My Lord, I recognize it. Then He says again: Do you recognize it? He says: My Lord, I recognize it. Then He says: I concealed it for you in the world, and I forgive it for you today. And he is given the record of his good deeds. But as for the disbelievers and hypocrites, they will be called out before the witnesses: These are the ones who lied about their Lord. Indeed, the curse of Allah is upon the wrongdoers. Sa'id said, and Qatadah said: No one will be disgraced that day, and his disgrace will not remain hidden from any of the creation.
