حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ كُنَّا إِذَا بَايَعْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى السَّمْعِ وَالطَّاعَةِ يُلَقِّنُنَا هُوَ فِيمَا اسْتَطَعْتَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
'Affan told us: Shu'bah told us, from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar, who said: I heard Ibn 'Umar say: When we gave the pledge of allegiance to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, to hear and obey, he would prompt us to add, "In whatever I am able."
