حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثِ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ قُلْتُ مَا تَقُولُ فِي الصَّوْمِ فِي السَّفَرِ قَالَ تَأْخُذُ إِنْ حَدَّثْتُكَ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْمَدِينَةِ قَصَرَ الصَّلَاةَ وَلَمْ يَصُمْ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ إِلَيْهَا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yunus ibn Muhammad told us: al-Harith ibn 'Ubayd told us: Bishr ibn Harb told us, who said: I asked 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar; I said, "What do you say about fasting while traveling?" He said, "Will you accept it if I tell you?" I said, "Yes." He said, "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when he left this city, would shorten the prayer and not fast until he returned to it."
