حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَطْفِئُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ أَوْ بَرِّدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, Shu'bah told us, from Umar ibn Muhammad ibn Zayd, that he heard his father narrating from Ibn Umar, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: Fever is from the exhalation of Hell, so extinguish it with water, or cool it with water.
