حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى حِمَارٍ وَوَجْهُهُ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ تَطَوُّعًا.

Yazid ibn Harun told us, Sufyan ibn Sa'id informed us, from Amr ibn Yahya, from Sa'id ibn Yasar, from Ibn Umar, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, praying upon a donkey, with his face toward the east, as a voluntary prayer.
