حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَرَأَ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ { وَمَا قَدَرُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ وَالْأَرْضُ جَمِيعًا قَبْضَتُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَالسَّمَوَاتُ مَطْوِيَّاتٌ بِيَمِينِهِ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ } وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ هَكَذَا بِيَدِهِ وَيُحَرِّكُهَا يُقْبِلُ بِهَا وَيُدْبِرُ يُمَجِّدُ الرَّبُّ نَفْسَهُ أَنَا الْجَبَّارُ أَنَا الْمُتَكَبِّرُ أَنَا الْمَلِكُ أَنَا الْعَزِيزُ أَنَا الْكَرِيمُ فَرَجَفَ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمِنْبَرُ حَتَّى قُلْنَا لَيَخِرَّنَّ بِهِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Affan told us, Hammad ibn Salamah told us, Ishaq ibn Abd Allah - meaning Ibn Abi Talhah - informed us, from Ubayd Allah ibn Miqsam, from Ibn Umar, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse one day on the pulpit: {They have not appraised Allah with true appraisal, while the earth entirely will be within His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be folded in His right hand. Exalted is He, high above what they associate with Him.} And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was saying like this with his hand, moving it back and forth, [saying]: The Lord glorifies Himself: "I am the Compeller, I am the Proud, I am the King, I am the Mighty, I am the Generous." Then the pulpit shook with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) upon it, until we said: "It will surely fall with him."
