حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلَى بَنِي زُهْرَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ إِلَى الَّذِي يَجُرُّ إِزَارَهُ خُيَلَاءَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hasan ibn Musa narrated to us: Shayban narrated to us, from Yahya, from Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman - namely Ibn Thawban, freedman of Banu Zuhrah - that he heard Ibn Umar say: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "God does not look at the one who trails his lower garment out of pride."
