Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Malik, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade meeting merchandise before it reaches the market, forbade najsh (bidding up a price without intent to buy), and said: "None of you should buy over the bargain of another."
