حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ وَيَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ اتَّخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَاتَّخَذَ النَّاسُ خَوَاتِيمَهُمْ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَرَمَى بِهِ وَقَالَ لَنْ أَلْبَسَهُ أَبَدًا قَالَ يَزِيدُ فَنَبَذَ النَّاسُ خَوَاتِيمَهُمْ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Waki' narrated to us: Sufyan and Yazid narrated to us - Sufyan informed us - from 'Abd Allah ibn Dinar, from Ibn 'Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, took up a ring made of gold, so the people took up rings of gold as well. Then he threw it away and said: 'I shall never wear it again.' Yazid said: So the people threw away their rings.
