حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كَانَتْ تَحْتِي امْرَأَةٌ أُحِبُّهَا وَكَانَ أَبِي يَكْرَهُهَا فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُطَلِّقَهَا فَأَبَيْتُ فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيَّ فَقَالَ يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ طَلِّقْ امْرَأَتَكَ فَطَلَّقْتُهَا.

Abd al-Malik ibn Amr told us, Ibn Abi Dhi'b told us, from al-Harith, from Hamzah ibn Abdullah ibn Umar, from his father, who said: I had a wife whom I loved, but my father disliked her, and he ordered me to divorce her, but I refused. So he went to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and mentioned that to him, and he sent for me and said, "O Abdullah, divorce your wife." So I divorced her.
