حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ خَمْسٌ لَيْسَ عَلَى حَرَامٍ جُنَاحٌ فِي قَتْلِهِنَّ الْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ وَالْغُرَابُ وَالْحُدَيَّا وَالْفَأْرَةُ وَالْحَيَّةُ.

Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, Shu'bah told us, from Abdullah ibn Dinar: I heard Ibn Umar narrate that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Five - there is no blame upon one in the sacred state in killing them: the biting dog, the crow, the kite, the mouse, and the snake."
