حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ إِذَا دَخَلَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ الرُّكُوعِ وَلَا يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ فِي السُّجُودِ.

Isma'il ibn Ibrahim told us, Ma'mar informed us, from az-Zuhri, from Salim ibn Abdullah, from his father, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, raise his hands when he entered the prayer, and when he bowed, and when he raised his head from bowing, but he did not do that in prostration.
