حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ قَالَ وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ أَوْ النَّخْلِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهُ.

Abdullah said: I found in my father's book: Yazid narrated to us: Shu'bah informed us, from Abdullah ibn Dinar, from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade the selling of fruit or dates before their soundness becomes evident.
