Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us: Shu'bah and Hajjaj narrated to us — Hajjaj said: Shu'bah narrated to me — I heard Muslim ibn Yannaq narrate, from Ibn Umar, that he saw a man dragging his lower garment, and said: Whose (son) are you? The man gave his lineage, and it turned out he was a man from Banu Layth, so Ibn Umar recognized him and said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say with these two ears of mine: Whoever drags his lower garment intending nothing by it but vanity, Allah, Most High, will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection.
