حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ أُسَامَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا دُعِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى وَلِيمَةٍ فَلْيُجِبْ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ أُسَامَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ وَهَذَا الْوَصْفَ قَالَ أَبِي وَحَدَّثَنَا قَبْلَهُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ وَابْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِحْدَى صَلَاتَيْ الْعَشِيِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ فَلْيُجِبْ.

Hammad ibn Usamah told us: Ubaydullah told us: Nafi' told us, from Ibn Umar, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'When one of you is invited to a wedding feast, let him accept.' Hammad ibn Usamah told us: Ubaydullah told us: Nafi' told us, from Ibn Umar, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, this hadith and this description. My father said: And he told us before it: Hisham and Ibn Awn told us, from Muhammad, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, led us in one of the afternoon prayers, two rak'ahs, then gave the salutation — and he mentioned the hadith — 'let him accept.'
