حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُسْأَلُ عَنْ الْمَاءِ يَكُونُ بِالْفَلَاةِ مِنْ الْأَرْضِ وَمَا يَنُوبُهُ مِنْ الدَّوَابِّ وَالسِّبَاعِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا كَانَ الْمَاءُ قُلَّتَيْنِ لَمْ يُنَجِّسْهُ شَيْءٌ.

Yazid ibn Harun told us, Muhammad ibn Ishaq informed us, from Muhammad ibn Ja'far ibn al-Zubayr, from 'Ubaydullah ibn 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar, from his father 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar, who said: I heard the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, being asked about water in the open wilderness that beasts and predators come to, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "If the water is two qullahs, nothing makes it impure."
