حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَشَدُّ النَّاسِ عَذَابًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الْمُصَوِّرُونَ يُقَالُ لَهُمْ أَحْيُوا مَا خَلَقْتُمْ.

Waki' told us, Sufyan told us, from 'Asim ibn 'Ubaydullah, from Salim, from his father, who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The most severely punished of people on the Day of Resurrection will be the image-makers; it will be said to them, 'Bring to life what you have created.'"
