حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُمَا قَالَ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ فَصَلَّيْنَا الْفَرِيضَةَ فَرَأَى بَعْضَ وَلَدِهِ يَتَطَوَّعُ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ فِي السَّفَرِ فَلَمْ يُصَلُّوا قَبْلَهَا وَلَا بَعْدَهَا قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ وَلَوْ تَطَوَّعْتُ لَأَتْمَمْتُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Waki' told us, 'Isa ibn Hafs ibn 'Asim told us, from his father, may God Almighty be pleased with them both, who said: We went out with Ibn 'Umar and prayed the obligatory prayer, and he saw some of his children performing a voluntary prayer. Ibn 'Umar said, "I prayed with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and Abu Bakr, 'Umar, and 'Uthman while travelling, and they did not pray before it or after it." Ibn 'Umar said, "Had I performed a voluntary prayer, I would have prayed it in full."
