حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ أَتَى قُدَيْدًا وَاشْتَرَى هَدْيَهُ فَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ وَقَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَنَعَ هَكَذَا.

Sufyan narrated to us, from Ayyub ibn Musa, from Nafi': Ibn 'Umar came to Qudayd and bought his sacrificial animal, then circled the House and went between al-Safa and al-Marwa, and said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, do this."
