حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ حَمَلَ عَلَى فَرَسٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَوَجَدَهَا تُبَاعُ فَسَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ شِرَائِهَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَعُدْ فِي صَدَقَتِكَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abd al-A'la told us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Salim, from his father: that Umar ibn al-Khattab gave a horse in charity for the cause of Allah, then found it being sold. He asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, about buying it, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not take back your charity."
