حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ أَبِيِه عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا وَقَدْ وُكِّلَ بِهِ قَرِينُهُ مِنْ الْجِنِّ وَقَرِينُهُ مِنْ الْمَلَائِكَةِ قَالُوا وَإِيَّاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَإِيَّايَ لَكِنَّ اللَّهَ أَعَانَنِي عَلَيْهِ فَأَسْلَمَ فَلَا يَأْمُرُنِي إِلَّا بِخَيْرٍ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi told us, from Sufyan, from Mansur, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, from his father, from Ibn Mas'ud, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'There is not one of you but has been assigned a companion from among the jinn and a companion from among the angels.' They said, 'Even you, O Messenger of Allah?' He said, 'Even me, but Allah helped me against him, so he submitted, and he only commands me to good.'
