Yahya told us, from al-Taymi, from Abu Uthman, from Ibn Mas’ud, that a man obtained a kiss from a woman not his wife, and he came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, asking him about its expiation. Allah, Mighty and Majestic, sent down: {Establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night; indeed good deeds remove evil deeds}. The man said, "O Messenger of Allah, is this for me alone?" He said, "For whoever among my community acts likewise."
