حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ قَالَ تَرَاءَيْنَا هِلَالَ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ بِذَاتِ عِرْقٍ فَأَرْسَلْنَا إِلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ نَسْأَلُهُ فَقَالَ إِنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَدْ مَدَّهُ لِرُؤْيَتِهِ فَإِنْ أُغْمِيَ عَلَيْكُمْ فَأَكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Rawh told us: Shu'bah told us, from Amr ibn Murrah, from Abu al-Bakhtari, who said: "We tried to sight the new moon of Ramadan at Dhat 'Irq, so we sent to Ibn Abbas to ask him." He said: "The Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Allah, Mighty and Majestic, has extended its time for sighting; so if it is obscured from you, then complete the count of thirty days.'"
