حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِى سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ قَالَ صَفْوَانُ بْنُ أُمَيَّةَ رَآنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا آخُذُ اللَّحْمَ عَنْ الْعَظْمِ بِيَدِي فَقَالَ يَا صَفْوَانُ قُلْتُ لَبَّيْكَ قَالَ قَرِّبْ اللَّحْمَ مِنْ فِيكَ فَإِنَّهُ أَهْنَأُ وَأَمْرَأُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Isma'il ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, Abd al-Rahman ibn Ishaq narrated to us, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Mu'awiyah, from Uthman ibn Abi Sulayman. He said: Safwan ibn Umayyah said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw me taking meat off the bone with my hand and said: 'O Safwan!' I said: 'At your service.' He said: 'Bring the meat close to your mouth, for it is more wholesome and more agreeable.'"
