الترجمة الإنجليزية
Sufyan ibn Uyaynah narrated to us, from Abd al-Karim, from Abdullah ibn al-Harith. He said: My father married me off during the governorship of Uthman, and he invited some of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Safwan ibn Umayyah came - and he was an old man - and said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'Bite the meat with your teeth, for it is more wholesome and more agreeable' - or 'more appetizing and more agreeable.'" Sufyan said: "The uncertainty is from me or from him."
