الترجمة الإنجليزية
Waki' narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Thabit or Abu Thabit, that a man entered the mosque of Damascus and said: "O Allah, ease my loneliness, have mercy on my estrangement, and grant me a good and beloved companion." Abu al-Darda' heard him and said: "If you are truthful, then I am happier with what you said than you. I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say regarding 'Among them is one who wrongs himself': The wrongdoer is taken to account in his standing, and that is worry and grief. 'And among them is one who is moderate': he will be given an easy reckoning. 'And among them is one who is foremost in good deeds': those are the ones who will enter Paradise without any reckoning."
