حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ قَالَ إِنَّ عُبَيْدَ بْنَ السَّبَّاقِ يَزْعُمُ أَنَّ جُوَيْرِيَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِىِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا فَقَالَ هَلْ مِنْ طَعَامٍ قَالَتْ لَا وَاللَّهِ مَا عِنْدَنَا طَعَامٌ إِلَّا عَظْمًا مِنْ شَاةٍ أُعْطِيَتْهَا مَوْلَاتِي مِنْ الصَّدَقَةِ فَقَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَرِّبِيهِ فَقَدْ بَلَغَتْ مَحِلَّهَا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Asim narrated to us, Layth ibn Sa'd narrated to us, Ibn Shihab narrated to me, saying that Ubayd ibn al-Sabbaq claimed that Juwayriyah, the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), informed him that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered upon her and said: "Is there any food?" She said: "No, by Allah, we have no food except a bone from a sheep that was given to my freed slave woman from the charity." He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Bring it close, for the charity has reached its destination."
