Affan told us, he said: Wuhaib told us, he said: Musa ibn Uqbah told us, from Abu Salamah ibn Abd al-Rahman, from al-Aqra' ibn Habis, that he called out to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) from behind the private chambers, saying: "O Muhammad, my praise is an adornment and my dispraise is a disgrace." He said: "That is Allah, Mighty and Sublime" — as Abu Salamah narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Abd al-A'la ibn Hammad told us, he said: Wuhaib told us, from Musa ibn Uqbah, from Abu Salamah, from al-Aqra' ibn Habis — and he said once, "indeed al-Aqra'" — and he mentioned the like of it.
