حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ جَارِيَةً لَهُمْ سَوْدَاءَ ذَبَحَتْ شَاةً بِمَرْوَةٍ فَذَكَرَ كَعْبٌ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَمَرَهُ بِأَكْلِهَا.

Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us: al-Hajjaj narrated to us, from Nafi', from Ibn Ka'b ibn Malik, from his father, that a black slave-girl of theirs slaughtered a sheep at Marwah; Ka'b mentioned this to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he commanded that it be eaten.
