Waki' narrated to us: al-A'mash narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd al-Fa'ishi, from a daughter of Khabbab, who said: Khabbab went out on a military expedition, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to look after us, to the point that he would milk a goat of ours. She said: He would milk it until it overflowed or brimmed over. But when Khabbab came back and milked it, its yield returned to what it had been before. So we said to him: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to milk it until it brimmed over - and once she said, until it was full - but when you milked it, its yield went back down. Khalaf ibn al-Walid narrated to us: Isra'il narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Malik al-Ahmasi, from a daughter of Khabbab ibn al-Aratt, who said: My father went out on a raid and left nothing but a ewe - and he mentioned something similar.
