حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ مَوْلَاتِهِمْ لَيْلَى عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ أُمِّ عُمَارَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا قَالَ وَثَابَ إِلَيْهَا رِجَالٌ مِنْ قَوْمِهَا قَالَ فَقَدَّمَتْ إِلَيْهِمْ تَمْرًا فَأَكَلُوا فَتَنَحَّى رَجُلٌ مِنْهُمْ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا شَأْنُهُ فَقَالَ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَا إِنَّهُ مَا مِنْ صَائِمٍ يَأْكُلُ عِنْدَهُ فَوَاطِرُ إِلَّا صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ حَتَّى يَقُومُوا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Aswad ibn 'Amir narrated to us, he said: Sharik narrated to us, from Habib ibn Zayd, from their freedwoman Layla, from her aunt Umm 'Umarah, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, entered upon her - he said: and men of her people gathered around her - he said: So she brought forth dates for them, and they ate, but one man among them withdrew. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: What is the matter with him? He said: I am fasting. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Indeed, there is no fasting person in whose presence food is eaten but the angels pray for him until they (the eaters) finish.
