Narrated to us by Yazid ibn Harun, and [also] Hajjaj narrated to me, who said: Ibn Abi Dhi'b informed us, from al-Maqburi, from Abdullah ibn Rafi', the mawla of Umm Salamah, from Umm Salamah, that Umm Sulaym - Hajjaj said "the wife of Abu Talhah" - said: "O Messenger of Allah, a woman who sees her husband in a dream having intercourse with her - must she perform ghusl?" He said: "Yes, if she sees moisture." Umm Salamah said: "Does that really happen?" He said: "May your right hand be in the dust! How else does resemblance to the maternal uncles come about, except from that? Whichever of the two fluids precedes to the womb, it predominates in the resemblance." And Hajjaj said in his narration: "May your forehead be in the dust."
