حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ خَلِيفَةَ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ عَنْ الْمَعْرُورِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِذَا ظَهَرَتْ الْمَعَاصِي فِي أُمَّتِي عَمَّهُمْ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بِعَذَابٍ مِنْ عِنْدِهِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَمَا فِيهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ أُنَاسٌ صَالِحُونَ قَالَ بَلَى قَالَتْ فَكَيْفَ يَصْنَعُ أُولَئِكَ قَالَ يُصِيبُهُمْ مَا أَصَابَ النَّاسَ ثُمَّ يَصِيرُونَ إِلَى مَغْفِرَةٍ مِنْ اللَّهِ وَرِضْوَانٍ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Narrated to us by Husayn, who said: Khalaf - meaning Ibn Khalifah - narrated to us, from Layth, from Alqamah ibn Marthad, from al-Ma'rur ibn Suwayd, from Umm Salamah, wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "When sins become widespread among my nation, Allah, Mighty and Sublime, will encompass them all with punishment from Himself." I said: "O Messenger of Allah, will there not be righteous people among them at that time?" He said: "Yes." She said: "Then how will those righteous ones fare?" He said: "What befalls the people will befall them, but then they will end up with forgiveness from Allah and His good pleasure."
