حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لِأَزْوَاجِهِ إِنَّ الَّذِي يَحْنُو عَلَيْكُنَّ بَعْدِي لَهُوَ الصَّادِقُ الْبَارُّ اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ مِنْ سَلْسَبِيلِ الْجَنَّةِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Narrated to us by Yunus, who said: Ibrahim - meaning Ibn Sa'd - narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, from Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Abdullah ibn al-Husayn, from 'Awf ibn al-Harith, from Umm Salamah, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say to his wives: "Indeed the one who shows compassion to you after me is truly the truthful and pious one. O Allah, give Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf to drink from the Salsabil spring of Paradise."
