حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ أُمَيَّةَ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَيَؤُمَّنَّ هَذَا الْبَيْتَ جَيْشٌ يَغْزُونَهُ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانُوا بِالْبَيْدَاءِ خُسِفَ بِأَوْسَطِهِمْ فَيُنَادِي أَوَّلُهُمْ وَآخِرُهُمْ فَلَا يَنْجُو إِلَّا الشَّرِيدُ الَّذِي يُخْبِرُ عَنْهُمْ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ كَذَا وَاللَّهِ مَا كَذَبْتُ عَلَى حَفْصَةَ وَلَا كَذَبَتْ حَفْصَةُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Sufyan ibn Uyaynah told us, from Umayyah ibn Safwan - meaning Ibn Abdullah ibn Safwan - from his grandfather, from Hafsah, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: An army will surely head for this House to attack it, and when they are at al-Bayda', the middle of them will be swallowed up by the earth, and the first of them will call out to the last of them, but none will escape except the lone survivor who will bring news of them. A man said: Such and such, by Allah, I have not lied about Hafsah, nor did Hafsah lie about the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him.
