حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْفُضَيْلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خُثَيْمُ بْنُ عِرَاكٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ إِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنْ جِمَاعٍ ثُمَّ يَغْتَسِلُ ثُمَّ يُصْبِحُ صَائِمًا.

Husayn ibn Muhammad told us: al-Fudayl - meaning Ibn Sulayman - told us: Khuthaym ibn Irak told us, from Sulayman ibn Yasar, from Aisha, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would sometimes rise in the morning in a state of ritual impurity from intercourse, then he would wash, then he would begin the day fasting.
