الترجمة الإنجليزية
Yunus told us, Umar ibn Ibrahim al-Yashkuri told us, he said: I heard my mother narrate that her mother set out to the House as a pilgrim, and the House at that time had two doors. She said: "When I had finished my circumambulation, I entered upon Aisha. I said, 'O Mother of the Believers, one of your sons sent to convey his greetings to you, and the people have been saying much about Uthman -- what do you say about him?' She said: 'May Allah curse whoever curses him'" -- I think she said it three times -- "'I certainly saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, resting his thigh against Uthman’s, while I was wiping the sweat from the Messenger of Allah’s brow, peace and blessings be upon him, as the revelation was descending upon him; and he indeed married him to his two daughters, one after the other; and he would say, "Write, Uthman."' She said: 'Allah would not have brought a servant so close to His Prophet in that station unless he was a servant dear to Him.'"
