حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ أَلَيْسَ ذُكِرَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُصْبِحُ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ فَيَغْتَسِلُ وَيَصُومُ فَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ حَدَّثَنِيهِ حَمَّادٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ.

Yahya ibn Adam told us, he said al-Hasan ibn Ayyash told us: "Was it not mentioned about the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he would rise at dawn in a state of major ritual impurity, then perform ghusl and fast?" Sufyan said: Hammad told me this, from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad, from Aisha.
