حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ لَقَدْ فَتَلْتُ قَلَائِدَ هَدْيِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدَيَّ فَبَعَثَ بِهَا وَأَقَامَ فَمَا تَرَكَ شَيْئًا كَانَ يَصْنَعُهُ.

Aisha reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) never took revenge for himself in any matter unless the sacred limits of Allah were violated, in which case he would take revenge for the sake of Allah.
