Aisha reported: We, the wives of the Prophet (peace be upon him), were all with him, and none of us had left. Fatimah came walking in a manner resembling the walk of the Messenger of Allah. He said: "Welcome, my daughter." He sat her by his side, then whispered something to her and she wept. Then he whispered something else and she laughed. I asked her about it, and she said: "I would not reveal the secret of the Messenger of Allah." After he passed away, I asked her again, and she said: "He told me that Jibril used to review the Quran with him once a year, but this year he reviewed it with him twice, and he said: I think my time has come. And he said: You will be the first of my family to follow me. So I cried. Then he said: Would you not be pleased to be the leader of the women of Paradise? So I laughed."
