حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ قَالَتْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي وَأَنَا مُعْتَرِضَةٌ عَلَى السَّرِيرِ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ قُلْتُ أَبَيْنَهُمَا جُدُرُ الْمَسْجِدِ قَالَتْ لَا فِي الْبَيْتِ إِلَى جُدُرِهِ.

Muhammad ibn Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Jurayj informed us, he said: Ata' informed me that Urwah ibn al-Zubayr informed him that Aisha informed him, she said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to pray while I lay crosswise on the bed between him and the qiblah. I said, "Was there a wall of the mosque between them?" She said, "No, it was within the house, close against its walls."
