حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو وَيَزِيدُ قَالَا أَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّيْلَ قَالَتْ كَانَ يُصَلِّي ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً يُصَلِّي ثَمَانِيَ رَكَعَاتٍ ثُمَّ يُوتِرُ ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ قَامَ فَرَكَعَ ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ بَيْنَ النِّدَاءِ وَالْإِقَامَةِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abd al-Malik ibn Amr and Yazid narrated to us, they said: Hisham informed us from Yahya from Abu Salamah, who said: I asked Aisha about the night prayer of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. She said: He used to pray thirteen rak'ahs: he would pray eight rak'ahs, then perform witr, then pray two rak'ahs sitting down; and if he wished to bow he would stand up and bow; then he would pray the two rak'ahs between the call to prayer and the iqamah of the dawn prayer.
