حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ مَا خُيِّرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ أَمْرَيْنِ قَطُّ إِلَّا اخْتَارَ أَيْسَرَهُمَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ فِيهِ إِثْمٌ فَإِنْ كَانَ إِثْمًا كَانَ أَبْعَدَ النَّاسِ مِنْهُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated from Malik from al-Zuhri from Urwah from Aisha, who said: Whenever the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was given the choice between two matters, he would choose the easier of the two, unless it involved sin; and if it involved sin, he was the furthest of people from it.
