حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنَامُ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ وَلَا يَمَسُّ مَاءً.

Hushaym told us, from Isma'il ibn Abi Khalid, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Aswad, from Aishah, who said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to sleep while in a state of major ritual impurity, without touching water."
